Hey you. Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better. :)

When a bit of space is opened up doesn't it feel like everything that was held at bay for so long comes rushing in. Nature abhors a vaccuum in the agenda, or something like that.

Oh, and I swear there are nice lefty guys out there... I'm sure there's an important piece of social commentary in that somewhere.

I'm so glad that I'm feeling a bit better. There are liberating aspects to being ill definitely see the 'cult of the busy' from a new angle and you have to become pretty secure in your identity based on the 'am' as opposed to the 'do'.

If you know nice lefty guys, bring them to me.

Ha.. Well, the one I got I plan to keep for a while - although I don't know if he'd self identify as a lefty (he is a capitalist, but I'm working on that) he is an environmentalst, supports social programs, sort of NDPish social democrat. Hmmm.... you're in Calgary, right? Maybe the rednecks BBQ'd and ate the nice lefty guys for dinner. I can get away with saying that because I'm an expat Albertan. Edmontonian, and you know what we think of Calgarians. ;)
